Job Title: Potomac Highlands Environmental Project Coordinator

FLSA status: Non-exempt

SUMMARY

Region 8 Planning and Development Council is seeking a creative, results-driven Potomac Highlands Environmental Project Coordinator to join our team to deliver community development projects within Grant, Hampshire, Hardy, Mineral, and Pendleton counties of West Virginia.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

The position requires a bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in public administration/business administration or a related field.  An equivalent combination of an associate degree and experience may be considered in substitution of a bachelor’s degree.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Development of projects for local governments

2. Grant writing and reporting, specifically targeted to help reduce pollution of the Chesapeake Bay

3. Special projects as assigned

4. Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills required
